Embyrs was not built to be a corporation. It was built to be a home.
At its core, Embyrs is an umbrella community — a place where creative work and honest conversation meet. We publish books. We launch albums. We host discussions that don’t shut down when they get uncomfortable. We make space for questions that deserve more than quick answers.
The name comes from an old word meaning a turning — a shift in season. That idea matters to us. We believe faith, history, art, and culture all move through seasons. Sometimes growth requires reexamination. Sometimes clarity requires courage. Sometimes renewal requires fire.
Our first publication, Dismantling Religion, sets the tone. It is not an attack on belief, but an invitation to rethink what we’ve inherited — and to ask whether the Kingdom Jesus proclaimed has been misunderstood along the way.
Alongside publishing, Embyrs also serves as the launch platform for White Wave Warrior — music rooted in hope, resilience, and the refusal to shrink faith into something small.
