About Chris Drake & Embyrs
Before Embyrs became a home for Ordisyn, books, music, and community, Chris Drake spent more than 25 years designing, installing, and maintaining the technical foundations organizations depend on.
The foundation
Chris’s background spans multi-site operations, local government, hospitality, healthcare-related environments, schools, and growing businesses. The work was practical: understand what people needed, build the system, protect it, and keep it running.
Chris progressed from Network Engineer to Network Administrator at CEDU Family of Services, a multi-site educational services organization with a substantial North Idaho presence.
He supported the network foundation behind a distributed organization where reliable access, communication, and day-to-day continuity mattered. CEDU later ceased operations in 2005.
At Drake Pacific Corporation, Chris was responsible for the design, installation, and ongoing maintenance of small- and mid-sized networks for organizations throughout North Idaho.
The work crossed operating systems, industries, and security needs—requiring careful planning, direct client relationships, and the ability to keep complex environments understandable and supportable.
Ordisyn is not a sudden pivot into technology. It is the continuation of a career spent making systems serve people—now applied to private AI operations, connected business tools, and owner-controlled automation.
The same principles remain: understand the real workflow, limit access, document decisions, build for reliability, and stay accountable after launch.

Embyrs’ first publication, Dismantling Religion, grew from Chris’s willingness to question inherited structures and ask whether the Kingdom Jesus proclaimed has been misunderstood along the way.
The book extends the same instinct found in his technology work: look beneath the surface, challenge assumptions, and rebuild around what is true and useful rather than what has merely become familiar.

Jennifer Drake has worked toward her first album for much of her life. Through White Wave Warrior, she writes from the place where strength and vulnerability meet—where grief is not hidden, doubt is not shamed, and hope is not naïve.
Her songs explore faith, struggle, love, and resilience. They are not background music. They are companion music for long walks, quiet processing, and standing back up again.

The home behind Embyrs
Chris and Jennifer Drake are building Embyrs together with their three children from North Idaho. Technology, books, music, and community may look like separate paths, but they come from the same conviction: people need tools and spaces that help them think clearly, create honestly, and build something lasting.
Embyrs began as a home before it became a company—and family remains the model for how the work grows: through trust, responsibility, shared conviction, and room for every person to bring something real.
